Description:

For people who are NEW to YOGA BURRA or have not attended YOGA BURRA classes since the COVID-19 mandatory closure in March 2020. This programme is designed for beginners of Yogalates (Level 1). It is suited to those who are looking for a class that combines Yoga, Pilates and Weights to both stretch and strengthen the body. There is an emphasis on developing core strength in this programme.  This programme includes breathing fundamentals for relaxation, meditation, stress reduction and optimising lung capacity. This programme also addresses optimal breathing for the purpose of core stabilisation to protect the lower back.  We use props including the Pilates circle, elasticised bands, straps and blocks.  All equipment is provided.  Please note:  Bookings essential.

For people who are NEW to YOGA BURRA or have not attended YOGA BURRA classes since the COVID-19 mandatory closure in March 2020.  This programme is designed for beginners of Stretch & Relax. It is suited to those who are looking for a programme that emphasises STRETCHING tight muscles and limbering joints.  Also suited to those who may have spinal issues or knee issues that require a more considered approach to poses.  This programme includes breathing fundamentals for relaxation, meditation, stress reduction and optimising lung capacity.  We use props including straps, blankets, bolsters, blocks, chairs, etc.  All equipment is provided.  Please note: Bookings essential.

Description:

For people who are NEW to YOGA BURRA or have not attended YOGA BURRA classes since the COVID-19 mandatory closure in March 2020.  This programme is designed for beginners of Yoga Flow.  This programme teaches the fundamentals of a flowing style of yoga, known as “vinyasa”.  This programme includes breathing fundamentals for relaxation, meditation, stress reduction and optimising lung capacity. This programme also addresses optimal breathing for the purpose of core stabilisation to protect the lower back.  Props used include straps, blankets, bolsters, blocks.  All equipment is provided.  Please note: you must be able to get up and down, to and from the floor, with ease for this programme because it is a dynamic practice.  May not be suitable for those who have spinal or knee issues that require a gentle approach to poses.   Bookings essential.
